Design and submit a poster design for The County’s Fall Festival To End Hunger for a chance to win $250 and have your art featured! Submissions are open to any and all residents of Maine!
Contest Details
The County’s Fall Festival is a day of food, music, and festivities! With The Mallet Brothers headlining, fall foliage rides, an ATV ride-in, food trucks, a silent auction, and more, it’s the perfect place for artists to share their work with the community! All proceeds go to our local food pantries and the Meals on Wheels program.
The poster design contest is intended to amplify local artists and have their work capture the spirit of the event!
Prize
Free admission to The County’s Fall Festival, $250, and their work featured as the official 2026 poster! Runners-up prizes to be announced.
Timeline
The contest will begin on August 5th, and run until September 5th, with winners to be announced by September 10.
Submission Requirements
- Any use of Generative AI to create the design will be disqualified. If AI is suspected, the judges will use their discretion and may request proof of the artistic process.
- The submission must be able to be scanned/uploaded as a digital image that can be reproduced if scaled up.
- Artists can submit up to 2 entries.
- Artwork must be the entrant’s original work. Clearly referenced or collaged work is not eligible.
- The artwork should be able to fit on an 18” by 24” piece of paper.
- Traditional entries are eligible as long as they can be scanned and are submitted with a clear image.
Rights and Usage
By entering the contest, the winning artist agrees to allow The County Federal Credit Union perpetual and non-exclusive rights to use the selected artwork for promotional materials on their social media and websites as well as the rights to reproduce the original artwork for sale in various forms, including but not limited to stickers, posters, and t-shirts. The artist agrees to indemnify The County Federal Credit Union against any claims arising from breach of this provision. As the owner of the artwork, the artist may license their design for other uses without infringing on The County Federal Credit Union’s use of the design. The artist will retain copyright, but full ownership of the selected artwork will belong to The County Federal Credit Union.
Selection Process
A panel of judges from The County Federal Credit Union will determine the winner. Winners will be contacted by the information they provided upon submission.
Guidelines
- The poster must incorporate the date October 3, 2026, and the phrase “The County’s Fall Festival to End Hunger”.
- Fun, family friendly, fall oriented, emphasizing local foliage and attractions.
- Listing activities is optional, but not limited to:
- The Mallet Brothers Band headlining
- Additional performances by 40 Thieves, Me & My Guitar, the Covertones,
- ATV Ride and Golf Scramble
- Silent Auction, fall foliage rides, food trucks, and live music

All submissions must have the artist’s preferred name, their age, link to socials (if available), email address, and the town they reside in.
